“The String to my heart/ hanging by a thread Proposal”
This proposal is inspired by the movie “Stepmom” with Julia Roberts and Ed Harris.
The proposal is set up this way:
· Julia is waking up to see Ed admiring her natural beauty.
· He hands her a ring box.
· In it is a spool of thread.
· He then proceeds to tie the thread onto her ring finger while speaking.
· He talks about how marriage should be a decision between two people that know that they have to live with that decision everyday together for the rest of their lives.
· He then tells her that they should hang on no matter what even if it’s by a thread.
· Then he lets go of the ring that he had hidden which travels down the thread onto her ring finger.
· Something as simple as that is still breathtaking since it was the honest truth about a person willing to work hard to be together forever with the other person.
