“Rose to the Occasion” Proposal
Similar to the UP Proposal with the balloons except this is with roses.
- Imagine your partner sitting on a bench in the middle of your (former) university’s campus.
- o Or at a well-known sculpture on campus such as the LOVE sculpture by Robert Indiana on the University of Pennsylvania’s campus in Philadelphia, PA.
- · Then a good looking stranger comes across her/him and hands them a rose with a smile.
- · The stranger leaves right away.
- · 5-10 seconds later.
- · Another stranger comes.
- · The stranger does the same thing.
- · This happens another “x” amount of time.
- Ending Variations:
- · You’ll come out at the end serenading your love or with a choir/glee club singing behind you.
- · The helpers can wear shirts that each one has a different letter.
o WILLYOUMARRYME(PARTNER’S NAME)?
o (15 people/shirts minimum)
o They reappear as you come out with the last dozen or so roses.
o They’ll stand side by side to spell out your message.
Materials:
- · A Fraternity/Sorority/glee clubbers or good looking strangers
- · Roses! A lot of them! 3 Dozen- 36 roses minimum
- · Photographer
