Summary:

·         The proposer organized a “Gorilla, Man, & Gun” competition during an FCA summer camp at the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Oklahoma. The concept is similar to “Paper, Rock, & Scissors” except it’s with your entire body.

·         I believe the rules is:

o   The Man deflects the Gun.

o   The Gun hurts the Gorilla.

o   The Gorilla really hurts the Man.

·         The competition was between the boys and girls. It was tough competition that eventually led to a sudden death match. They chose a representative from each side. Coincidently; they chose the leads that were also a couple. So it was personal!

·         As the crowd cheered on their leads; they stood back to back. The unexpected partner was planning her next move. While the proposer was getting ready for his next move, the countdown began. 3. 2. 1.

·         The unexpected partner turned around to reveal “man.”

·         While the proposer turned around to reveal “a man on his knee with a ring!”

·         The unexpected partner realizes the proposal and tears fill her eyes.

·         She said YES!
