1/07/11 Breathtaking Proposal #7

3D Theatre View

This proposal is a variation of the Movie Trailer Proposal

Instead of doing a Movie Trailer; a video of compiled interviews of loved ones and viewed on a theatre that lets you look up upon the ceiling like in the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia, PA. They show IMAX movies there too. (It may be a separate theatre though.)
Imagine a video that you created yourself with Windows Movie Maker/iMovie or some other video editing software.

The contents of the video:

Snip bits of your friends/family being interview by you.

The questions:
  • ·         How do you know YOUR NAME?
  • ·         What do you like about YOUR NAME?
  • ·         How do you know YOUR PARTNER’S NAME?
  • ·         What do you like about YOUR PARTNER’S NAME?
  • ·         Do you think YOUR PARTNER’S NAME would marry someone as FILL IN ADJECTIVE(awesome/lame/etc.) as YOUR NAME?
  • ·         Do you think YOUR NAME and YOUR PARTNER’S NAME would make it as husband/wife/ etc.?
  • ·         How many months do you think they’ll last?(Want to make a bet on it? Just kidding.)
  • ·         What would YOUR NAME have to do to prove his/her love to YOUR PARTNER’S NAME?
  • ·         What advice would you give them for a happy marriage?
  • ·         How do you know that YOUR NAME loves YOUR PARTNER’S NAME?
  • ·         Do you think YOUR PARTNER’S NAME even likes YOUR NAME? (Optional)
  • ·         Do you think YOUR PARTNER’S PARENTS NAME even likes YOUR NAME? (Optional)
  • ·         Etc.

PEOPLE TO ASK:
  • ·         Your Partner’s siblings/parents (After you asked them for his/her hand in marriage of course)/cousins/ best friends/etc.
  • ·         Your best friends/ siblings/ parents/ etc.
  • ·         Mail courier/co-workers (that you like)/me! /etc.
  • ·         It’s better to get people that you both know, like, and are pretty certain they’ll say something nice or funny.
Then of course the collage of home videos of YOU and YOUR PARTNER. With your songs. Make it something nice enough to show your family members and perhaps future children.

Get Creative!

As for getting access to the theatre; contact the venue and ask who would be in charge of special events like that. Figure out how much you are willing to pay to rent out that space for a night.

NOTE:
(Proposal # 7.5)

An alternative cheaper location
may be one of the university’s lecture rooms with a projector and screen.
Contact the university and ask who to contact for renting a room with a projector and screen.
If you do that; it’ll be sweet if you both of you went to school there.
Perhaps you can catch a sports game first then go then try to sneak into one of their “$1” movies as alumni.
Of course, getting footage of your partner’s reaction is always a great idea.
